Job Description

We are hiring a Post-Silicon Validation Engineer to support a contract-based assignment with a leading MNC customer. The role involves hands-on electrical validation, board debug, and silicon bring-up activities. Strong measurement skills, hardware knowledge, and lab experience are essential. RTL knowledge is optional but an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Validation

• Review and recreate validation test plans.
• Perform electrical testing, power-up validation, and measurements.
• Operate digital oscilloscopes and lab instruments (MUST be familiar with digital scope).
• Document test results and findings clearly.

Debug

• Debug board-level issues (e.g., no power, functional failure).
• Perform probing, tracing, and root-cause analysis.
• Carry out soldering, rework, and hardware touch-up (MUST have soldering skill).

RTL (Optional)

• Read and understand RTL (Verilog/VHDL).
• Make small RTL modifications when required (optional advantage).

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in silicon validation, hardware validation, or board bring-up.
• Strong knowledge of electrical measurement, power sequencing, and debugging.
• MUST be proficient with digital oscilloscopes.
• MUST have hands-on soldering and rework ability.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR, USB, MIPI, SerDes) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Python/TCL scripting is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and able to work independently in a lab environment.
