Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and technically-sound Test Technician to support our 24×7 lab operations. Based in our facility, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuous uptime and reliability of our testing infrastructure, with a specialized focus on Teradyne module support and equipment maintenance.

As a Test Technician, you will join a fast-paced team responsible for high-stakes semiconductor testing environments. You will be the first line of defense for equipment issues, ensuring that support requests are handled with urgency and that all lab operations strictly adhere to industry safety and quality protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Module Support: Provide full operational coverage for test modules, including performing Level 1.5 debugging to minimize equipment downtime.

• Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine preventive maintenance (PM) and basic corrective maintenance on tester equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Rapid Incident Response: Respond to all incoming support requests via email, Microsoft Teams, or phone.

• Performance Monitoring: Monitor equipment health, log abnormalities, and provide timely escalation of critical issues or significant downtime to the engineering team.

• Lab Stewardship: Maintain all tools, jigs, and accessories in proper working condition while ensuring 100% compliance with ESD, safety, and lab operational protocols.

• Reporting & Documentation: Generate weekly equipment health reports and ensure detailed shift handover documentation to maintain seamless 24×7 operations.

Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience in a lab or semiconductor manufacturing environment, specifically with tester equipment is highly preferred.

• Technical Expertise: Basic understanding of electronics debugging and the ability to perform mechanical/electrical preventive maintenance.

• Operational Readiness: Ability to work in a 24×7 shift-based model and maintain high alertness for emergency response (Redphone).

• Communication: Good interpersonal skills to communicate technical issues clearly via digital platforms and during shift handovers.

• Compliance: Strong discipline in following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines (ESD/OSHA).
