Collaboration Between Contacthings and NCER Malaysia
PENANG, MALAYSIA – MAY 2022 – A collaboration agreement has been signed between Contacthings and NCER Malaysia in Talent Enhancement Programme (NTEP) and Technology Innovation Centre (NTIC) programme. NCER Talent Enhancement Programme (NTEP) is a human capital programme designed to ensure adequate skilled manpower that matched the industry’s requirements in the Northern Corridor Economic Region (NCER).
Through this initiative, participating employees will receive training and relevant certification, along with access to job placement opportunities. Approximately more than 100 highly skilled workforces job opportunities will be created by year 2023. These highly skilled workforces will be the part of the expansion of our new 50,000 sqft plant located in Bayan Lepas.
Local technology and talent development is always our priority. We are looking forward for more collaborations with NCER to spur the growth along with the semiconductor industry in the region.
