Job Description

Responsible for leading the design and development of thermal and mechanical solutions for semiconductor equipment, ensuring performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. Provide technical leadership, support system integration, and drive projects from design through validation and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of thermal and mechanical solutions for semiconductor equipment, including thermal head, test socket, and test handler systems.
• Drive thermal architecture, heat dissipation strategies, and temperature control solutions to ensure performance and reliability.
• Develop and review 3D models, detailed drawings, and engineering documentation using SolidWorks/CAD tools.
• Provide technical leadership during design reviews, risk assessments, and validation activities.
• Oversee machine build, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Ensure designs meet performance, quality, cost, and timeline requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance where required.
• Provide on-site technical support during machine installation, qualification, or customer escalation when necessary.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electromechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in thermal mechanical design, preferably in semiconductor equipment.
• Strong hands-on experience in Thermal Head, Test Socket, or Test Handler systems.
• Proficient in SolidWorks or other CAD tools.
• Strong understanding of heat transfer, thermal management, and precision mechanical design.
• Leadership, excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Semiconductor industry experience is highly preferred.
