Job Description

Responsible for mechanical design of automated equipment and custom machines for the semiconductor industry. This role involves concept development, detailed design, and supporting machine build, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated equipment, jigs, and fixtures.
• Prepare fabrication drawings with tolerances.
• Verify drawings and prepare BOM.
• Perform mechanical calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
• Ensure design meets customer requirements, quality, and safety standards.
• Provide technical input during reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Meet project timelines and budgets.
• Provide on-site support when required.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electromechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in automation industry.
• Proficient in SolidWorks or CAD tools.
• Experience in Thermal Head, Test Socket, or Test Handler is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Semiconductor knowledge is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
