Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Mechanical Design Engineer to responsible for mechanical design of automated equipment and custom machines for the semiconductor industry. This role involves concept development, detailed design, and supporting machine build, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and development of custom automation machines and precision mechanical systems from concept to final release.
• Develop detailed 3D models, assembly drawings, and BOMs using CAD software in accordance with engineering standards.
• Perform engineering calculations, tolerance stack-up analysis, and material selection to ensure robust and reliable designs.
• Verify drawings and prepare BOM.
• Ensure design meets customer requirements, quality, and safety standards.
• Provide technical input during reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Meet project timelines and budgets.
• Provide on-site support when required.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electromechanical Engineering or any related field.
• At least 1 year and above on relevant experience in automation industry. Fresh graduates are encourage to apply.
• Proficient in SolidWorks or CAD tools.
• Experience in Thermal Head, Test Socket, or Test Handler is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Semiconductor knowledge is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
