Job Description

We are hiring a Senior Post-Silicon Validation Engineer to support assignment with a leading MNC customer.
This role requires deep hands-on expertise in silicon bring-up, electrical validation, and complex boardlevel debug. The engineer is expected to work independently, drive validation activities, and mentor junior engineers. RTL knowledge is optional but a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Validation & Bring-Up

• Lead and execute post-silicon validation and board bring-up activities.
• Define, review, and improve validation strategies and test plans.
• Perform power sequencing validation, electrical measurements, and signal integrity checks.
• Operate and interpret measurements from digital oscilloscopes and advanced lab instruments.
• Identify coverage gaps and propose additional tests to ensure robust validation.
• Review schematics and layouts to support validation planning.

Debug & Hardware Support

• Lead complex board- and silicon-level debugging (power, clocking, reset, interface bring-up).
• Perform advanced probing, signal tracing, and root-cause analysis.
• Execute and guide soldering, rework, and hardware modifications.
• Work closely with design, layout, firmware, and system teams to resolve issues.

RTL (Optional / Advantage)

• Read and analyze RTL (Verilog / VHDL) to support debug and failure analysis.
• Propose or implement small RTL fixes or workarounds when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering (or related field).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in:
  • Post-silicon validation
  • Hardware validation
  • Board bring-up or silicon debug
• Strong expertise in:
  • Electrical measurement techniques
  • Power sequencing and power integrity
  • Board- and system-level debug
• MUST be highly proficient with digital oscilloscopes (triggering, decoding, eye diagrams, advanced analysis).
• MUST have strong hands-on soldering and rework capability.
• Ability to work independently, own problems end-to-end, and drive issues to closure.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
