DRTB MIPI D-PHY Reference Termination Board
The DRTB MIPI D-PHY Reference Termination Board from Introspect Technology is a versatile and easy-to-use tool designed to support the development and evaluation of high-speed MIPI D-PHY transmitters. Capable of emulating the behavior of a MIPI D-PHY receiver, it enables accurate signal testing at data rates of up to 9.0 Gbps, making it well-suited for both version 1.2 and version 2.0 of the MIPI D-PHY specification.
This board supports simultaneous termination of four data lanes and one clock lane, allowing for comprehensive signal evaluation in multi-lane systems. Its intelligent design ensures that termination is engaged only when a valid high-speed signal is detected and is automatically released when the signal transmission completes. This dynamic termination behavior makes it ideal for replicating real-world operating conditions in a controlled lab environment.
Designed for ease of use, the DRTB features a straightforward configuration interface and uses standard 2.92 mm RF connectors for signal input. Power is supplied via a USB 2.0 Mini-B connection, streamlining setup and eliminating the need for external power supplies or complicated wiring. The compact form factor and plug-and-play functionality allow engineers to quickly integrate the board into their test benches and begin analyzing signal quality, eye diagrams, and other electrical characteristics of their D-PHY transmitter designs.
Whether for validating new product designs, troubleshooting signal integrity issues, or conducting transmitter compliance tests, the DRTB Reference Termination Board offers a reliable and flexible solution that enhances productivity and confidence during the development of MIPI-based systems.
- Terminates 4 lanes and clock simultaneously
- Enables measurement of D-PHY signals at v1.2 and v2.0 symbol rates
- Provides an easy to use configuration interface
Introspect Technology’s DRTB MIPI D-PHY Reference Termination Board (RTB) allows users to emulate the behavior of a MIPI D-PHY receiver at data rates of up to 9.0 Gbps. The RTB engages termination upon the reception of a valid MIPI D-PHY high-speed signal and releases termination when high-speed transmissions are complete, thus creating a test bench for MIPI D-PHY transmitter evaluation. The RTB receives MIPI D-PHY signals via 2.92 mm connectors and uses a single USB 2.0 mini B cable connection for power, allowing users to quickly get up and running.
