
Integrated-Tip Interposer
Introspect’s Integrated-Tip Interposers are engineered to streamline high-speed probing for DDR, LPDDR, and GDDR memory interfaces operating at next-generation data rates. Installed directly underneath the memory device, each interposer preserves a clean through-connection between the processor and memory, ensuring the system behaves as intended during testing. The interposer generates a high-fidelity analog replica of the original signal, allowing oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers to capture precise waveforms without introducing unwanted loading.
By integrating the placement of a high-impedance probing tip inside the interposer and integrating the tip at the ball-level interface, the solution minimizes reflections, reduces disturbance to the memory channel, and delivers consistent signal integrity—addressing common challenges seen in traditional probing approaches.
Integrated Tip Under Each Ball in a DDR, LPDDR, or GDDR Memory
Introspect’s Integrated-Tip Interposers are designed to enable probing of next-generation memory interfaces running at ultra high transfer rates. Sitting underneath a memory device, the interposers provide a through path for signals between a processor and the memory device, while also generating a copy of the signal for oscilloscope or protocol analyzer probing. By integrating the high-impedance tip inside the interposer, this family of memory interposers creates a high-fidelity copy of the signal under test – in the analog sense – and solves the issue of reflections that often occur in traditional memory interposers.
