OSFP – 224G per lane

The Wilder Technologies OSFP 1.6T HCB/MCB is a comprehensive solution designed for high-speed host compliance and module testing at 224G PAM4 per lane, supporting up to 1.6 Tbps total throughput. Developed to meet the requirements of IEEE 802.3dj, this hardware configuration enables both transmit (Tx) and receive (Rx) testing for OSFP interfaces, making it a critical tool for validating next-generation optical transceivers.

The setup includes CMIS_GUI software, which provides an intuitive interface for controlling and monitoring module functions. Users can view and manage lane states, module power levels, and optical signal parameters, with clear display of alarms and warnings related to temperature, supply voltage (Vcc), and optical performance. The software also allows users to adjust power margins, configure the data path, and read from or write to the CMIS memory map and I2C registers directly. Additionally, built-in scripting tools enable direct access to CMIS registers for streamlined automation and testing.
