The SV2D-28 Direct Attach SerDes Test Module from Introspect Technology is a compact, highly integrated solution designed for multi-site, fully parallel high-speed SerDes testing directly on an application or test board. It eliminates the need for external cabling and delivers a self-contained setup with on-board power sequencers and clock synthesizers. Supporting continuous data rate selection from 19 to 28 Gbps, the module features 8 independent transmitters capable of injecting sinusoidal and random jitter, TX de-emphasis, and both UI and sub-UI lane-to-lane skew.
Additionally, it includes 8 independent receivers equipped with equalization and true parallel bit-error-rate measurement, along with eye-margining controls for comprehensive signal integrity testing. With built-in scripting capability for automation, minimal I/O requirements, and seamless SPI bus communication with ATE systems, the SV2D-28 offers an efficient, cost-effective platform for accelerating SerDes validation and production workflows.

The SV2D-28 provides continuous data rate selection from 19 to 28 Gbps. It features 8 independent transmitters with signal impairments including sinusoidal and random jitter injection, TX de-emphasis and lane-to-lane UI and sub-UI skew injection, and 8 independent receivers with equalization, true parallel bit-error-rate measurement and controls for rapid eye-margining measurement. Communication with ATE is handled seamlessly via an SPI bus.
