SV5C-eDP Embedded DisplayPort Analyzer
The SV5C-eDP Embedded DisplayPort Analyzer from Introspect Technology is an ultra-portable, high-performance tool designed for protocol analysis and validation of eDP (Embedded DisplayPort) and DisplayPort (DP) interfaces. Supporting eDP up to v1.5 and DP up to v2.1, it operates at speeds of up to 10 Gbps per lane and can be configured for 1 to 4 lanes (ML0 to ML3) plus the AUX channel, making it ideal for debugging and validating both source and sink devices.
The analyzer offers extensive triggering, consecutive frame capture, and full video frame extraction, providing clear visibility into symbol-level events and protocol behaviors. It can function as a DP sink device or as a bus probing tool, capable of capturing live traffic, decoding symbols, and identifying display parameters in real time. Integrated with Introspect’s powerful Pinetree software, the SV5C-eDP Analyzer empowers engineers with advanced analysis tools in a compact, portable package—ideal for high-resolution display testing in development and production environments.

The SV5C-eDP Embedded DisplayPort Analyzer is an ultra-portable, high-performance instrument capable of analyzing traffic for Embedded DisplayPort and DisplayPort applications. The SV5C-eDP Analyzer may be used as either a DisplayPort sink device (for source testing) or as a probing solution for capturing protocol traffic on an Embedded DisplayPort bus. The Analyzer can capture live traffic, decode symbols, detect display parameters, and extract full video frames. All of these functions are integrated into Introspect’s award-winning software environment, Pinetree. The figure below illustrates a typical application of the SV5C-eDP Analyzer connected to an Embedded DisplayPort Source.
