SV1C-8 Personalized SerDes Tester

The SV1C-8 Personalized SerDes Tester from Introspect Technology is an ultra-portable, high-performance instrument engineered to meet the demands of modern high-speed digital product engineering teams. Designed for continuous data rate selection up to 8 Gbps, it delivers true parallel bit-error-rate (BER) measurement across 8 lanes. Each lane features independent TX amplitude and pre-emphasis control, RX clock recovery, and equalization, enabling granular control and detailed receiver characterization. The tester also includes powerful signal integrity tools such as TX jitter injection and integrated RX jitter testing, along with BERT, eye diagram, and analog waveform measurement capabilities.

Compact enough to fit in the palm of your hand, the SV1C-8 offers eight independent stimulus generation ports and eight independent capture and measurement ports. It is purpose-built to support the test and measurement of complex SerDes interfaces including PCI Express Gen 3, DisplayPort, Thunderbolt, and MIPI M-PHY. With flexible loopback support and automated test capabilities powered by Introspect’s intuitive Pinetree software—based on the Python programming language—this instrument enables engineers of all skill levels to efficiently develop and deploy comprehensive SerDes verification routines.
