SV2D-32 Direct Attach SerDes Test Module

The SV2D-32 Direct Attach SerDes Test Module from Introspect Technology is a compact, high-performance solution designed for advanced high-speed digital product testing. With multi-site, fully parallel test capabilities, it enables individual pattern generation and bit-error-rate (BER) measurement per lane, making it ideal for modern Gbps testing environments. Its self-contained design includes on-board power sequencers and clock synthesizers, minimizing external dependencies and simplifying integration.

The SV2D-32 offers continuous data rate selection up to 32 Gbps and features 8 independent transmitters with advanced signal impairments, including sinusoidal and random jitter injection, TX de-emphasis, and lane-to-lane UI and sub-UI skew injection. On the receiver side, it supports 8 independent channels with equalization and parallel BER analysis, along with eye-margining capabilities. With a tiny footprint and minimal I/O requirements, this module mounts directly on application or test boards without the need for cables. Built-in scripting support enables automation for production testing, firmware verification, and device debugging. Communication with ATE is seamless via SPI or an optional high-speed parallel interface.
